Welcome to the Secret Barber, my name is Andy by the way (not so much of a secret now). I have been barbering since 2015, I qualified at the London School of Barbering and I'm a member of the British Master Barbers association.
The Secret Barber brand has been going 6 years now, during this time I've been listening to my clients. Over this time things kept cropping up in conversation: they loved the fact that I am 'appointment only' so there is no waiting. Another thing that kept cropping up was the traffic in Evesham and parking around the town. I have identified a growing trend in their needs: convenience.
New Premises
After careful consideration, I decided it was time to move away from my previous premises and time to roll the dice. I moved to a custom-fit barbershop In Weston Subedge on the Honeybourne Industrial Estate, designed as an escape from the traffic of town and with free parking right outside the front of the building.
It doesn't stop there though, since July 2020 I joined booksy the free appointment booking app that now takes care of my appointment schedule. You can now book the appointment you require by browsing through my availability in the calendar within the app all from the comfort of your own home any hour of the day.
Of course, an appointment system isn't a revolution but when you get your hair cut with me I guarantee there's no more waiting around not knowing how long your appointment is going to take, those days are now long gone.
I'm located right next to Weston Subedge on the Honeybourne Road, in the Weston Industrial Estate, within 5 miles of Evesham and 10 miles of Stratford Upon Avon. The villages of Chipping Camden, Badsey, Bretforton, Mickleton are literally 5 minutes away and allows me to cater for a wider catchment area whilst providing the convenience of free-flowing traffic, free parking and no waiting.
My Barbershop has the creature comforts of a lads pad, a relaxing, friendly atmosphere where you can grab a refreshment and chill out whilst waiting for your chosen pre-booked service.
An important factor in my new barbershop though is the second chair, I now can have more than one stylist working and I have sounded out a graduate from the London School of Barbering who will be starting Spring 2021 (there will be more on that in a future news post). This of course means more capacity and even more convenience for my clients.
Our New Website
Also as you may already know from reading this, I have a new website Secretbarber.com. I'd like to thank James at luvdigital.com for the late nights he has put into this.
This website is also linked to booksy and has a shop built in allowing customers to order the hair products that I sell in my shop and have them shipped at their convenience. I'm also offering a local free delivery drop off within a 5-mile radius for orders over £20.00 and Free Uk Shipping for orders over £40.00.
COVID19 and 2020
Its been a tough year for many reasons, our industry took a huge hit this year and affected a lot of businesses. Understandably with the COVID19 pandemic, people have been affected in all walks of life financially and due to this, I froze my prices, from a moral perspective, I felt this was the right thing to do.
Whilst our industry remains under an unpredictable threat from this pandemic I can assure you that I am following every single safety procedure put in place down to a tee, from PPE to using blades per customer and sanitising equipment in between appointments.
